St. Ann’s Altar Sodality is an organization founded to support the spiritual welfare of all women in Holy Trinity Parish.  We come together once a month to enjoy each other’s friendship and work on activities which assist our parish. We sponsor an annual day of recollection for all women of the parish as well as having a Mass said for each woman of the parish at the time of her death.

 

We assist the parish through service projects, such as serving funeral luncheons, a prayer chain, making Thanksgiving turkeys and Christmas cookies for the needy of the diocese.  We participate in parish events, such as, the sweet shop and dessert by the slice at the picnic.  We sponsor receptions for RCI candidates, the communion and confirmation classes.

 

We have several fund-raising activities, e.g. a quilt raffle in the fall, a Quilt Bingo in January, and a cash raffle in the spring.  The funds raised through these activities are used to purchase altar supplies, pay for quilting expenses, support Catholic education on the elementary and secondary level through tuition assistance and assist our pastor Father Jim.

 

We encourage all women of the parish to take an active role in this organization.

We meet on the 2nd Wednesday of the months September – May at 6:30PM in the parish center.  We have potluck dinner meetings twice a year to share fellowship.
