Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA)

Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) – This is the process by which the Catholic Church warmly welcomes new members.  It is an ongoing process with the help of the pastor and laity with information presented to those interested in becoming Catholic.  Those who choose to continue and complete the initiation process do so by receiving the sacraments during the Easter Vigil on Holy Saturday.  RCIA is also for active Catholics who serve as catechists, sponsors or help as part of the RCIA staff.  RCIA meets on Sunday mornings.

Our first meeting to welcome new inquirers for 2010-2011 will be on Sunday, September 12 at 9am in the Meeting Room.

For more information on how you can begin the process or if you are interested in helping the RCIA team, please contact Gene Gallant at 618-394-7706 or email at gallafos@charter.net.
