For those considering the RCIA process, I can only give you one thought: GO! It is a fascinating process, and you will have the chance to grow spiritually as you learn more about the faith. RCIA is not just a class, an event, or a destination - it's a process. Make the goal to go one week at a time. You're not making a commitment, you are simply going to learn more. When the time comes to make a commitment, you will know what to do. I made myself wait until Good Friday to make the decision - that was back in 2010. It is a decision that I have not regretted.

Father Ray:

Hope you are having great trip to Rome.

Bobbie and I have missed Saturday liturgy a a number of occasions this spring because the
time of the service has been changed. There are a number of people that feel that the time of the weekend
liturgy should be "sacred." I understand a need to change things for Christmas, Easter and maybe the Picnic,
but not anything else.

Peace,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,JOHN

I am interested in attending RCIA. Due to certain health problems,I have great difficulty attending a set schedule of meetings. Would there be any other way to pursue an RCIA type program?

Thanks,

Keeliey O'Hara

Went to Sam's Club today and found the light bulbs you were talking about right as I walked in the front door. One 8-pack was less than $2 (normally close to $20). Yes! $2 for 8 compact florescent light bulbs like the one's requested for the Church. I bought a few packs, but more are needed! Please if you have a Sam's Club card, take a trip and purchase as many as you can at this unbelievable price.

A small sacrifice of $12 would let you purchase 6 packs for a total of 48 new energy-efficient light bulbs for us! Could you please remember to make that small purchase for the Church and bring them in next time you come to mass?
